This is quite possibly the most effective method of sending invitations of any that we have mentioned thusfar. Pretty much everyone that is Greek that you are friends with has a Facebook account, so we might as well use that to invite them to Greek Invite. Here is a simple step-by-step process on making it work. 1) Get your namecard link by going to your profile and scrolling to the bottom of the page. Under your “Invitations” section, there is a link that says “(Your name)’s Namecard.” Click this link and scroll to the bottom of the new window that it opens. 2) In the top box that says “Meta Link” there is a link, highlight and copy the entire thing. 3) Login to your facebook account and visit the group called “Greek Invite” (and join it if you haven’t already). You can just search for “Greek Invite” 4) Click the link that says “Invite people to join” 5) Now you can go through and invite any and everyone you know that you are friends with. You can also include a message to all of the members that you are inviting. In the comments section, include a brief description of Greek Invite as well as pasting the link that you copied in step 1. When someone clicks that link, they will see your name card page with a registration link. (Note: if you view this namecard page while you are logged in, you will not see the registration link—but other people will!) That’s it! Send the invitation to your friends and you should be good to go! If you are interested in inviting through Facebook, you can also add the Greek Invite application to your Facebook profile!
